Tonight I made my beautiful girlfriend Ursula an earring set to match the ones she lost.

Today I felt lucky for once to walk by the smokers area outside my dorm when I saw that someone had put something in the smokers’ receptacle that was billowing out smoke… Love it.

My room mate and I found that the door to the electrical closet was open a few nights ago so we got some pretty neat shots:

This year I celebrated the day of the dead at my girlfriend’s place down in Boston.  Many were in attendance, most dressed up, but my two friends Eddie and Hannah were dressed up especially nice tonight! Alice and the Mad Hatter:

Tonight I snapped a few shots of the sunset over the river just before dinner, and oh GOD it was a gorgeous night!

Adobe just released their new beta for Lightroom 3 and boy is it awesome. I’ll do a full rundown of some new features over at josephacote.com, but for now here’s an old image I did a quick b+w edit with.

This morning I was on my way back from Ursula’s apartment in Boston and on the walk to the T I snapped a few shots with my iPhone because I didn’t have my Nikon on me at the time… they actually came out well though, I guess all this 365 experience is actually giving me some compositional knowledge and wisdom of what looks good and how to shoot it, even if only with a 1.3MP cell phone camera…

My room mate got some henna tattoo stars on his wrists and he wanted me to document it for Facebook… hence:

UMass Lowell has been raising the student fees for a few years now and we try our best to fight back, this year a decent group showed up.

We decided to go for a walk along the river on what is known here in Lowell as the River Walk.  Here are some of the end results!

Tonight my room mate and I used the same set-up from the eraser in the glass shots with leaves and we used powered sugar to get a snow look. Came out really well!
